Let’s get started on your fitness journey. I am a qualified gym instructor and personal trainer who can help you become more active and reach your fitness goals. Exercise doesn’t have to be intimidating and it doesn’t need to take up all your time – consistency is key. I’ll help you make the most of the time you have available, working closely with you to develop a routine that will fit into your busy lifestyle.

Becoming more active

Whatever your goals are, I’ll help you reach them in a practical, sustainable way. So many training programmes aren’t designed to fit a busy lifestyle and end up demanding excessive amounts of time. This isn’t the way to build a long-term routine. Whether you want to lose weight, improve your mobility, or just find a way to move more often, I’ll work with you to understand your existing time commitments and develop an effective routine that works alongside them. My balanced approach towards fitness is the perfect way to make exercise enjoyable, rather than intimidating.

Working towards your fitness goals

When you choose one-to-one training, everything is tailored to you and your goals. This means that if something doesn’t work for you, it won’t be part of your sessions; there are no aimless exercises, and all the work we do together will help you reach your goals. It also means that fitness can be comfortable and accessible, even if you’ve never exercised before. I can deliver training sessions in your home or outside, and you won’t need to invest in expensive equipment. I bring anything required for our sessions –  all you need is your gym gear.

Finding balance through personal training

We’ll start with a consultation so that I can learn more about your goals, current fitness levels, and lifestyle. If you have a demanding career, caring responsibilities, or lots of hobbies and commitments, I’ll be able to plan around these.

I will produce a written progression plan so that we can track the progress you’re making towards your goals. We’ll each have a copy, so the information is always close to hand. It’s extremely motivating to consult your plan and look back on progress as you improve over time.

I will plan and deliver training sessions that reflect everything I’ve learnt about you, and that are targeted towards your goals. My sessions involve plenty of guidance on form and exercising safely, and of course, you’ll have the opportunity to ask unlimited questions.

I will help you build an exercise routine outside of our sessions together. This allows you to continue working towards your goals between sessions. You’ll build confidence and independence, and can start to understand how you’ll be able to sustain the routine over time.
